Final Continent is an open world survival RPG that's been in development since January 2024 by the single developer VividLycoris.
You are among the many travelers exploring the mysterious landmass known as "The Final Continent". It's known for it's volatile environments, vicious creatures and unpredictable weather. Despite all of this, you and all other travelers find this fascinating.
The continent is yours to explore. You can bring along fellow travelers on your expedition or go solo. Make your own ultimate team of characters to fit your playstyle, each having their unique in-depth mechanics. Observe, fight or befriend the many creatures you'll encounter. Find your own Relics in ruins or steal them from unsuspecting travelers. And uncover the true nature of this continent.
The main aspect of Final Continent is survival to fulfill the goal of being in an unknown hostile world, the creatures and travelers you'll encounter aren't just punching bags you can wail on, but more as if you're fighting something with intelligence. Travelers are almost capable of all the same actions as you, from using items and relics, grouping up, starting rivalries, etc, Most creatures follow their own intellect, senses and function independently rather than just "being there". Travelers and Creatures are not the only threat, the environments themselves are also perilous but are highly interact-able which you can utilize to your own benefit. from making traps, creating safe areas and even causing chemical reactions such as explosions. Travelers and creatures don't have to be a threat, they're capable of teaming up alongside you and coming along in your journey.
RPG mechanics are also present, where you're able to enhance characters, their skills, spells and weapons to fit your own playstyle, rather than simply making them do more damage. This part of the game is still being reconsidered constantly, as said before, the goal of this game is to recreate being in an unknown hostile world.

A well lit forest even in the dead of night, The creatures, trees, water and flora are all bioluminescent, some of the materials needed for newer technologies came from here.
The only known access point to The Final Continent if you're traveling by sea, it's built on top of a ruin conveniently next to the ocean and nowhere near danger. It even has a functional drainage system. The exact purpose of this ruin is still unknown however.
Named for being, by far, the tallest known mountain in the world. Geologists are uncertain how such a large elevation was achieved considering the surrounding areas. But everyone's curious what would be like if they were to be on the very peak of this mountain.
A seemingly missing girl, she's been given the name "Fuyuko", meaning "winter child" as all sightings of her are within the Mt. Beyond area. Nobody knows why she's there or what's she doing.
A formidable traveler from one of the distant countries. She uses protective magic to protect herself and allies with her staff, but get on her bad side and you won't forget what her staff truly is.
Fuyuko now has a reworked ultimate attack!
Skill trees are now in the game, you can enhance and change the playsylte of characters
